Join us

For the past 13 years Celebrate Ageing has led the way in building a movement to dismantle gerontism (the ageism experienced by older people) and promote respect for older people. Over that time, we have refined our knowledge about what it takes to create change. We have learned we need to be innovative to engage the critical mass of people required to trigger significant change. We have also learned that change needs to happen at every level of society – from policy, to services, workplaces, services, communities, families, older people and each and every individual.

We know we can’t do this alone, so we are supporting older people to empower themselves and we are supporting a national network of leaders promoting change at all levels of society.
We know we make a difference - and you can too. Please consider joining us, by hosting a project, becoming a volunteer, spreading the word or making a donation - details below.

Host a project

We have designed our projects to be replicated by councils, services, groups and communities - with step by step instructions on our online learning platform. Read more about The Biscuit Tin, Old is Beautiful and Museum of Love projects on their web pages. Some organisations have hosted a series of projects in their local area or state.

Spread the word

Help spread the word about the work we do by emailing the document to your local council or services and groups you think might be interested. Let us know if you need more information.
