Generational Body Positivity (GenB)
Generational Body Positivity (GenB) is an intergenerational project promoting body positivity. The project emerged from the #OldisBeautiful workshops, where older people talked about wanting to model body positivity for their grandchildren or younger people in their community. GenB activities are now included in the Old is Beautiful workshops - with older people writing body positivity messages to younger people, who are then invited to respond.
GenB is an initiative of Celebrate Ageing Ltd's Centre for Intergenerational Power and was developed in partnership with Harry, a 16 year old work experience student from Ballarat Grammar.

GenB Queer - IDAHOBIT 2026 Campaign
We have been gathering body positive messages from older LGBTIQ+ community members to share with younger LGBTIQ+ community members. We hope to share these broadly on social media on IDAHOBIT 2026 - to encourage Queers around the world who are questioning their worth. If you would like to share a constructive message to any of the older LGBTIQ+ folks who shared their messages below - please use the confidential survey here
GenB Hepburn
We are delighted to launch #GenB Hepburn - an intergenerational exchange on body positivity in Daylesford and surrounds. We are currently gathering messages from older people and community leaders to share with younger people. If you know a community leader that would like to participate, please let us know. The #GenB Hepburn project is supported by Elder Rights Advocacy, U3A Hepburn and is coled by Max Primmer, as part of his Fellowship with the Elder Leadership Academy.
