Museum of Love
The Museum of Love develops, collects, preserves and displays items documenting the importance of love in the lives of people with dementia. Our goals are to help reduce the gerontism and ableism experienced by people living with dementia and their families; and to help build connection through dementia love skills.
The Museum is an initiative of Celebrate Ageing Ltd and was established on Valentine's Day in 2017. The Musuem logo is a rose tattoo - the flower represents love, the thorns are the challenges dementia can bring to love and the leaves are the love skills that get us through the love challenges.

Our Collections
The Museum maintains online collections and hosts workshops, exhibitions, campaigns and projects that humanise the experiences of people living with dementia and promote connection. Click on the images below to view our collections.
