Daylesford is on the land of the Dja Dja Warrung People. Surrounded by Wombat State Forrest it is popular for its natural springs, picturesque beauty and relaxed vibe. On this page we share some of our fav Daylesford things.
Stay
There are a couple of Motels and lots of private accomodation in Daylesford and Hepburn (if you have a car). Accomodation starts at $130 and goes to $$$$$$$. Here are some of the motels, do a search in any of the accommodation booking sites for other options.
Eat
There are lots of wonderful places to eat, with prices ranging from a local pie to Michelin star chefs. Here are some of our suggestions:
If you are self catering, there is a big Coles off Vincent st (the main street), lots of bakeries and also Blakes Grocers (here) and Tonna's Fruit and Veg (here).
Upmarket dining includes Bistro Terrior, Sault and Lake House. You will need to book in advance and check out their webpages for cost.
