About #GenKqueer
The #GenKqueer project involved multigenerational workshops promoting acts of kindness for Queer Victorians doing it tough around Christmas. The first act of kindness involved debunking harmful ageist myths, then participants produced messages of hope to share with community. The messages were provided to artists @kentoonist1 and @cintsartspace, who produced illustrations for hope cards.
In the section below you can read the individual and group hope cards and listen to workshop participants reflections on hope, ageism and the importance of community.
