The importance of having fun

Picture
Beautiful photo - beautiful story: Jill, Christine, Irena, Teresa went to lunch and were laughing hysterically. They were approached by a 91 year old man who said how much he enjoyed listening to their laughter and how important it was to have fun. They thanked him and he left. Shortly afterward Jill felt someone playing with her hair. She swung around to find the same man placing a Tiara on her head. He'd left, gone shopping, bought the Tiara and come back to present it to Jill. Jill sent me this pic and story because she wants me to tell everyone how important it is for elders to have fun. Thanks Teresa for the beautiful photo.

My friends and I had a similar experience recently. There were four of us, Kathy, Wilma, Carol, and Audrey, and we all were thrift store addicts.
This particular day we were exploring a new thrift store when we decided we should each purchase an outfit that made us look like bag ladies. We each bought the outfit and put it on and took photographs and decided to go to a small cafe for lunch. All through lunch we were laughing with and at ourselves. We were all in our late 50’s so when I say an elderly gentlemen, he was quite elderly, and as he was leaving he stopped by our table to tell us how much he had enjoyed his lunch listening to our laughter.
